That there were death threats against the late Senator Edward Kennedy has long been a matter of public record.
But there were even more than the record was showing.
Kennedy, who died in 2009, lived under what was more or less a constant series of death threats, some from cranks and some from individuals that were taken very seriously by law enforcement.
The FBI, in a recent release of previously secret files spanning the mid 1960s to 2001, revealed half-a-dozen previously unreported death threats against Kennedy who lost both his brothers to assassins.
