If she ever becomes a judge it will be "all rose" - not all rise.
Antrim native Bronagh Kelly was recently sworn in as an attorney in the State of New York.
But if the pageantry of the law has long had its attractions for the young attorney, so has the pageantry associated with the Rose of Tralee contest.
For as well as being a newly-bloomed attorney, Bronagh is also Antrim's reigning Rose of Tralee representative.
With her mom and dad proudly present, Bronagh was sworn in as an attorney at the Convention Center in Albany in a ceremony presided over by five justices.
"It was a great day and to have my family present to witness me fulfill my dream was an honor," Bronagh told the Echo.
"Hearing my name called out from the roll of new graduates filled me with a sense of pride and accomplishment, and it was the moment I finally felt that all the hard work and dedication had paid off," she said.
Bronagh said that in her career as a lawyer she will be determined to uphold the constitutional oath that she took in New York's state capital.
"This is a great responsibility which I take very seriously, and I hope to be able to use my position as an attorney-at-law for the good of many people," she said.
