St. Patrick's Day 1998, NYPD post-Parade gathering: Raising a glass along with those of several hundred of New York's Finest as the pipes and drums played "Amazing Grace" in honor of the officers killed in the line of duty that year. Made the hair stand on the back of my neck! Have you ever marched in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade? I'm embarrassed to say I never officially marched, but I did jump in one year and march a few blocks behind the Wexford banner. Am hoping to get IN-NYC into the parade soon. It's tough to get in!
