Also on Sunday the hurlers of Tipperary and Kilkenny will be hoping that it's third time lucky and they will get to play one another in Thurles. Their league meeting, which was supposed to be the glamour opening game in this year's Allianz National Hurling League, has been postponed twice because of snow at Semple Stadium.
