Attorney General Martha Coakley has dedicated the last 20 years of her life to a career in public service, advocating for the best interests and well-being of the residents of Massachusetts. She was elected Massachusetts Attorney General in 2006 and is currently a candidate for the United States Senate. Prior to serving as Attorney General, Coakley served two four-year terms as Middlesex District Attorney. Coakley has been recognized for her leadership in a variety of areas, from prosecuting child abuse to modernizing law enforcement practices with cutting edge technology.
