Which is your favorite of the three Kennedy brothers who served in politics and why?
Ted Kennedy's 1965 Immigration bill discriminates against the Irish. It is unfair. I always found it strange as to how some Irish-American immigration lobby groups called Ted Kennedy a friend. This law should be modified to stop this unfairness. Where were the AOH and other groups back in the 60's when this bill was being drafted? The Irish are not perfect, however they are not an immigrant group that comes to places like Boston or NYC to go on the dole or demand that the state print official forms in Irish. The Irish don't deserve to be discriminated against. Ted Kennedy was no friend of Irish immigration.

The passing of Ted Kennedy, may God be good to him, marks the twilight of Camelot. John-John, Bobby, President JFK & now Ted have all gone to their happy & holy repose in Heaven.
It is ironic that the Immigration Law of 1965 of which Ted Kennedy was a chief architect, closed the open door policy of America to the Irish & the Mexicans, and opened the door to émigrés from Asia, Africa & elsewhere. To some extent, the undocumented Irish are the result.
We will miss Ted, as health care reform marches on without him.
The Special Olympics will serve as a reminder of the enduring care & kindness of the Kennedy's to the whole world.

People have to be less sentimental about the Kennedys. Objectively look at what they have done and not done. It will open your eyes

Jack is my favorite because I served in the Marine Corps while he was in the White House. His moral courage and diplomatic maneuvers averted a third world war in 1962. I was very proud to have Jack as my Commander in Chief.
