HOPe Foundation Dinner Will Honor Gerry O'Shea

HOPe (Helping Other People) Foundation, is holding what it calls "a very special dinner to honor a very special man," founding member, Gerry O’Shea, who recently passed.

The dinner in honor of O'Shea, who was also a longtime Echo columnist, will be held on Saturday, June 7, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Kerry Hall, 305 McLean Avenue in Yonkers. 

Gerry died in January at the age of 80.

Said a statement from HOPe: "A true stalwart of the organization, Gerry served in many leadership roles  for HOPe throughout the years. His main motivation was always to help families in need and to give back. Gerry’s dedication to HOPe was an inspiration to us all and we would love to acknowledge all of the great work that he did.

 "There will be a tribute to Gerry’s commitment to HOPe as well as dinner, entertainment by Sean Fleming and Friends and a cash bar. The cost of the event is $100 and all monies will go to support HOPe.
