New York footballers lauded at City Hall

The New York Gaelic Athletic Association has played for 27 years in the Feile Peile na nOg – an international Gaelic football tournament in Ireland – without bringing home a winning title. That changed this year with the New York Féile team winning their Division One tournament. New York City Council Member Elizabeth Crowley invited the team and their families to City Hall to honor and recognized the players with a special City Council Proclamation.
