Work resumes at Duffy’s cut

Work has resumed at Duffy’s Cut, the site near Malvern, Pennsylvania where dozens of Irish railroad workers met a grim fate in the early 1830s. Pictured are technicians from U.S. Radar in New Jersey who are using ground radar devices that have already detected "anomalies" above the spot in the old fill where Dr. William Watson and his team from Immaculata University found the first seven graves during the 2009-2012 exploration seasons. The plan is to take core samples in this area in the next few weeks and carry out excavations by summer's end.
